Give me money to buy an iPod

Is this the Christian Coalition iPod Lounge or what! So much judgement and denigration for some poor fool looking for attention… and an iPod.

What does this guy wanting an iPod have to do with charity?

I hope that for every donation you collect and actually use towards an iPod that you suffer for an undetermined period. If you have any f%&ing; decency you’ll give all the money you collect to charity.

Microsoft "aims to topple Apple" for digital tunes

Gosh, I’m so popular! How great of you to continue focussing so much attention on me.

Look, there is a little thing called opinion. Sorry mine doesn’t jive with yours. Wouldn’t that make you feel better? Conform to the herd, eh? Isn’t that what you would like?

Don’t you have anything better to do with your time than dedicate yourself to my comments? Obviously not.

Give me money to buy an iPod

Oh, and just to make me not look like some ogre, i’ve done more than a years charity work and im still working at BHF so dont say I have no empathy or compassion. And it isnt like I havn’t given money to the homeless, I just dont anymore…its my view

but this is the internet, there isn’t a right or wrong, and its nothing to go by, as its just peoples opinions, which obviously differ from one to the next. and as sypher said, it isn’t really a big deal anyway.

A Bomb,

You actually criticize people for doing EXACTLY what you do time and time again in every comment you make.  Kiddies without knowledge?  Read some of the comments you’ve posted above, all of them show that you are the one lacking knowledge and objectivity.

It is clear that you are a compulsive liar and probably some lonely person without friends.

Doesn’t this news item read like an RIAA press release? It seems so contrived.

Dell stops selling iPods

torchedlh,

Wow! You are definitely the king of coupon clippers. That’s great for you. You know what they say, Dell is the Wal-Mart of PC box assemblers. And their roll-back prices prove it! Congratulations.

Actually, yes! Thanks for asking.

That’s so precious! Thanks for sharing.

Give me money to buy an iPod

“i would rather give 50p to someone saving for an iPod than funding a tramps drug money for skag”
I give money to homeless people, and if they’re gonna buy drugs, I’d rather they use the money I gave them than commit a crime to get money for drugs.. mug someone, rob a shop etc.

And I dont see why its such a big deal to give a guy 50p so he can get an iPod either. Dont take it so seriously.

The Mac Night Owl asks, "Does a Cheap iPod Make Sense?"

Except that it’s the other way around, Surfermac & DimJim. There’ve been lots of articles about how itunes music service makes very little profit directly—it was introduced on windows as a way to sell ipods, not the other way around. There’s a rather significant difference between a few pennies profit on a dollar and a 20-30 dollar profit on a 40 dollar game

Give me money to buy an iPod

i would rather give 50p to someone saving for an iPod than funding a tramps drug money for skag.

Perhaps if you had an ounce of empathy and compassion, you would understand the stupidity of that statement.
As someone who has spent most of my life helping people in need - people dying from AIDS, cancer etc., kids without parents who are cold and hungry, elderly people who’s children no longer care for them and have dumped them in a home because they can’t stand to see their parents fading away…

Get some perspective. People like this guy make me sick! It’s people like him, and the people that give him money that contribute to the negativity in the world. We are in seriously short supply of common sense and decency in this world…

Give me money to buy an iPod

Hey i thought of this idea too, but then i thought to myself “How about i stop being so cheap and buy myself an ipod with my own stupid money.” I cant believe people are actually giving him money. What ever happened to working hard to earn something, instead of just asking people to hand it to you? Bah humbug.

iPod #1, dominates MP3 player market

“...still fixated on Dell? Why do you care?...”

Who ever said I was fixated on Dell? That’s a strange comment. And why so concerned with me?

As far as gapless playback goes, I just join the tracks on my live albums and symphonies together and there are no gaps when this is done. What a non-issue.

I guess some people will complain about every little thing, though. Whiners.

Give me money to buy an iPod

note how he has a job, its just a laugh. how does him collecting money affect you?its up to all the people who give him the money, they arent being forced into it, and i would rather give 50p to someone saving for an iPod than funding a tramps drug money for skag. and obviously BIGP think that all eurpoeans are stupid, not nice. well i think all americans are twats in that case (although, i have no reason to say that, just like him)

Give me money to buy an iPod

No - but I can hate him for being a lazy tosser!

There are so many people out there who need money. If we all donated 50p, perhaps some poor kid will get some warm clothes or a bed to sleep in. That is a worthy cause to me - providing others with basic human needs/rights. I don’t see why I should reward someone for being lazy, pathetic and selfish.

The Mac Night Owl asks, "Does a Cheap iPod Make Sense?"

I think that a smaller iPod is a great idea to capture market share. True, I just upgraded from a 2g 20gb to a new 40gb, but I’m sure that there are plenty of people that want to have the iPod cool factor for less $$.

Great way for Apple to further bring their great stuff to the world.

Give me money to buy an iPod

Hell I don’t know what my country is turning into when we’ve got perfectly able guys like Geoff, who take to the web and beg, not for food, clothing or for a roof over his head but an iPod! Geoff do like the rest of us and save your cash and buy it with ones own money. The word scuzzbag springs to mind.
