iPod Software v2.0 only for new models

Lame.

I could go on, but… naaw.

Apparently the all of the brains in Cuppertino can’t figure out how to put a playqueue on a legacy iPod.  That’s just pathetic.

iPod Software v2.0 only for new models

What about all the old iPods (left over 10 GB stock).  Where are they being sold, and has anyone found any good deals on old version iPods?  I dont like the way the new ones look, and personally, would like to see if i could find an old iPod (10GB) for somewhere at around 199.00.  Let me know

RIAA Warns with IMs

I actually think that if this is true, the RIAA is in violation of anti-harrassment laws.

iPod Software v2.0 only for new models

I think your sentiments are mirrored by pretty much every current iPod owner… this is quite upsetting.

Well that’s no good. My pod isn’t even four months old.

Apple iPod Updater 1.3 Released

Below is from our very own iPodlounge’s homepage:

“Give Apple iPod Feedback
Are you upset that Apple did not include support for note reader, two new games, On-the-Go playlists, customizable menu and sleep timer in iPod Software 1.3 for older iPods? Send them a peice of your mind as we have on the official iPod Feedback page at Apple.com.”

So I am assuming that, as of right now, there is no support for “On the go” playlist for the “old” iPods.

So does anyone know if the “On the go” playlist will work on the “Old” pods?

RIAA Warns with IMs

People who use KaZaA or Grokster deserve to be caught and fined… I hate those programs… :)

Oh by the way, can someone outline exactly what 1.3 does? I have a Winniepod. =/

Give Apple iPod Feedback

I sent them feedback. I highly recommend doing this, as I’m sure they will listen to customers if there are enough responses. My advice is to keep it professional and rational; if I were them I’d ignore comments such as, “GIVE US 2.0!”

Apple iPod Updater 1.3 Released

I’m very excited about the new software update out there for our “old” iPods.

I was very curious if anyone knew if the 1.3 update includes the new games and the “on the go” playlist generation.  The apple site makes no mention of it.

Thanks,
Kurt

Apple Announces New iPods: 10, 15 and 30GB

I saw it on techtv today and i love how it looks and the new features. And when the back light is turned on the play, pause, menu buttons turn red. Its off the hook. And the 30gb can hold 7500 songs in it. What’s good about the docking port to me is that you can have either USB2.0 or Firewire 400 or 800. I have windows but i’ll like to have firewire800.

Creative Announces Three New Speaker Systems for iPod

umm….I wouldn;t exactly say that they are releasing the speakers for the iPod. I think they are releasing them for the Nomad Jukebox - but,  I am sure they WILL work with an iPod as well :)

iTunes Music Store Launched

The iTunes Music Store does not require a .Mac membership. If you have ever bought anything online at Apple.com, you most likely already have an Apple ID. If not, you just need to register for a free Apple ID to use with iTunes Music Store. In iTunes 4, click “Sign In” (upper right corner) then click “Create Account”. Follow the process.

I just download a new album by Mindi Abair.  I really like the store.  Worked flawlessly.  Great selection.  I’m liking the AAC format.  I’m listening to the album now on PB12 with Grado SR60s.  Sounds great.

OK, let me ask it here too.

What is up with the “Apple ID or .Mac” account requirement? Isn’t it that those actually cost money (like $100/yr)? Isn’t that a subscription fee? Did I miss something?
