Hardware: iPod Does Wireless
Online electronics retailer, C. Crane Company is taking pre-orders on a Digital FM Transmitter expected to ship in February 2002. It will transmit MP3’s from an iPod wirelessly to your auto stereo and more. Price is $79.99.

JR Hill & Co. announced that it will be shipping the iPod Sleeve and iPod Deluxe Sleeve to those who signed up for early email notification. Though there are dozens of possible PDA/mini-digicam/cell phone cases suitable for the iPod, JR Hill & Co., Brenthaven and Incase Designs are all busy working on iPod specific cases. JR Hill & Co. anticipate an after Thanksgiving ship date for their iPod Sleeve and Deluxe Sleeve models. The JR Hill & Co. Deluxe Sleeve is the same model we will be giving away in our Grand Launch Give-A-Way Promotion. Brenthaven, in a rumored deal with Apple, have begun work on designs bearing the Apple logo. Incase Designs will be offering an iPod case in early 2002. Hardware: iPod Connection Kit
Dr. Bott has announced 2 new iPod specific products. The Auto Charger for iPod and The iPod Connection Kit. The Auto Charger for iPod connects to a standard 12V DC cigarette lighter (found in most cars) via the firewire port. The iPod Connection Kit allows users to connect the iPod to automobile stereo systems, home stereo systems, mic input of computers and other devices, boom boxes, and clock radios. The Auto Charger for iPod and the iPod Connection Kit are expected to ship in December.
