My only significant complaint with this case is the “ears” of the front of the case near the earphone … they tend to snag on clothing a bit more than I’d care for.

I have this case. I am a little worried about durability of the plastic clip. It appears to be a little flimsy to me. But only time will tell!! The case itself is great, strong and fits well...

Just bought a case-mate ! makes my gadget look like a 1000 dollar gadget... full protection.. and it looks better than any other case...

I bought this case last night. The leather case fits the iPhone wonderfully! I saw 2 problems with the case.

1. At the top of the case near the ear piece there are 2 areas that easily could be snagged on things.
2. The belt clip is not reliable at all. When wearing the phone on my side all I thought about was that it was going to break off.

I think the belt clip should have been centered on the case to make it more reliable. Other than the 2 problems that I saw, the case is good if you aren't going to use the belt clip.

Alright, I have a judgement on the plastic clip. One week after I got it, it broke off as I was reattaching the case to the clip. I knew it looked flimsy!

I just bought this case for a second time because case mate has a holster on http://www.case-mate.com that is made for this case. I have ordered the holster and in the meantime I will switch between this case and the Incase silicone protective case. I will post another review after I get the holster for this case. I think I will really like it.

I've noticed small scratches at the bottom of the chrome ring from where the phone slides in. I'm guessing the phone would be in better shape than if I had no case at all, although the first drop would change that for sure. I am considering the Sena Ultra Slim Pouch although I am afraid I'd get real tired of taking it out, holding the case, and swiping my finger every time a call comes in. George

The case looks nice but the 3 of them that I owned partially covered the earpiece. I say 3, yes all 3 broke the clip off the case. Thankfully AT&T replaced them no charge but after the third one I switched to another case. They need to make the piece on the back of the case more sturdy.

I picked up the perforated version of this case. I love the look and feel of it but I've noticed what GeorgeJ has noticed. It seems that the case has scuffed up the chrome ring around the phone with less then a week's use. Other than that I think the perforated case is a great alternative to the plain signature leather case. I also like the fact that if you keep your phone in your pocket, it doesn't get stuck when you pull it out, unlike many of the silicone cases.

I bought one and the earpiece was completely covered as well as the camera hole (partially). Assuming it was just a defect, I called the company and was told that they have only one mold so all of the cases are identical.

If I pushed the iPhone up in the case to expose the earpiece and camera hole, then there was a 1/4" gap at the bottom. Needless to say, I returned it for a refund.

I hate this case and my iPhone has sustained major cosmetic damage as a result. It is definitely one of the prettiest cases out there, but the desirability stops there.
I have had two of these, both the belt clips busted, and the uprights, (besides always plucking my upper ear, bend and the stays within the leather break.) I haven't had any luck getting in touch with case-mate, another stinging point. Don't buy this unless you just want an expensive cosmetic only case for 1 day.
I like the BSE skin!
