"...the Fitted Sleeve doesn’t bulge in front..."
I don't think so. I bought this case with my iPhone and have since taken it out of the case because the area right around the home button puckers out. I think that the volume switch is very difficult to use when inside this case and I haven't bothered trying to use the mute switch for the same reason.
Overall the construction is very good, however. High quality materials throughout but those couple of details make me want to return this case and keep searching. In my opinion I'd rate this a B-/C+ in terms of functionality/execution and an A/A+ in terms of overall construction.

You can see in our pictures that it doesn't. At least, the version we tested didn't. It's possible that Incase, like many other companies, has been tweaking the design and fixing bulge issues.

True but maybe there is a slight difference between leathers (wild guess here) which may cause the "feature" of the case. I bought the black one and it puckered out. When did you test the case? July 23rd? I bought my case about a week ago. Like you said maybe it's design change but so far I'm just a little less than thrilled with it.
