I have this case and the clip nub is removable with a little quick and simple work. the belt clip nub is attached with a phillips screw behind the small felt cover on the back piece. just unscrew and the nub comes off for those that do not want or use a belt clip (like me).

Thank you for putting up detailed pictures of this case, otherwise I would not have purchased it (because their own website didn't have close-ups)! The main feature I was looking for was protection of all 4 corners (I'm accident-prone), and this case has it! I was so close to purchasing Case-Mate (covered only 3 corners & it WOULD probably land on the unprotected corner!) or Vaja (pricey), but your review helped me with my decision. Now...any pointers how to re-open it when I need to replace my screen protector? (Doh!)
