It worked nice at first yet, it loosened up and started to pop open w/o me wanting to. Then a plastic part cracked and I ended up having to use crazy glue. The case is poorly made when considering other case makers for pda's who use metal. For instance Rhinoskins are made far better. Yet, they don't make ones for ipods. In the end the attention to quality is horrible. I even had to work on the hinges. They seem to be made by Chinese Prison Labor and not in a factor which cares.

Forgot, someone asked about Rhinoskin web site. Rhinoskin.com
Yet, they only have cases for mini's. They use to make a titanium case for palms and visors. There has NEVER been a nicer case. Titanium with an attention to detail to kill. Some of the Sony Clies fit in the old Titaniums. Unfortunately, they stopped using Titanium. NOW THERE WAS A CASE. This case is pure sad trash. It works nice at first. Yet, b/c the thickness of the material is lacking and the hinges are bubblegum machine toy quality you are going to have a looosy goooosey unit in 72 hours. I had to take the hinges apart and re-adjust them. SAAAAAAD! Too bad no one with a real machine shop made these. I would pay 100 bucks for a real metal case

They say that the 4G version of the Armor will fit all the 4G models, but it was IMPOSSIBLE to get my 40 gig photo iPod out! I finally resorted to prying it out with a butter knife. The iPod got a small scratch, but I had no other choice. I am currently in the process of getting a refund, which hasn't been too much of a problem. I am really disappointed because my boyfriend has Armor for his 3G 20 gig iPod and loves it, never had any problems. Any suggestions on the next best hard-sided case?

I agree with the previous post. I just received the 4G version in the mail (I have a regular 4G iPod), and I had to go to similar extremes to get the iPod out of the case. Durability issues aside, look for another case if you ever plan to dock your iPod again. I'm calling for a refund, and am thinking of trying the 4G magnesium/plastic case made by Pacific Rim Technologies: http://www.pacrimtechnologies.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=28&products_id=103&osCsid=82e2d75cc5fee650de1ec6298dc38c35

If anyone has any experience with products manufactured by this company, I'd appreciate a scouting report.
