Doesn't mention anything about the current clip and arm band that Apple offers with the mini. It appears that they won't work with cover.

You are correct Pat. The Mini Skin or any other case that covers the mini will not work in the new belt clip or armband.

So the skin doesn't have a clear plastic screen protector like an iSkin eXo? (the review isn't 100% clear on that)

"Like Speck's 3G iPod case, the Mini Skins protect everything but the controls, **screen,** and..."

"The face is another story. At the very least, we'd like to have seen a clear plastic scratch protector for the iPod mini's screen, if not its controls, ..."

Sounds pretty clear to me. No screen protector.

What sucks though is that the ipod mini doesnt need that kind of protection, the only protection it NEEDS is screen, so why don't they make a useful case for the ipod, clear, protects screen, and worlds with all perephials.

My Idea:
Design the same case, but leave NO plastic in the area where the belt clip or armband would . Sorta like an indentation. Then, have a clear, high quality screen protector over the screen(kept slightly lower than the surrounding plastic. That would be the best case.

can't they make a screen protector that static-sticks onto the screen like the ones I use on my palm m515?

I think I'm gonna try and trim one of my palm screen protectors to fit the mini I just gave my girlfriend for her birthday...

why the heck would they not include a screen protector? dont they understand that that is the most needed thing in the world. my mommy should give them an ### whoopin...

I guess the idea behind it is...when its scratched go and get a new one. Hey...whats $250 these days???? (just kiddin) It is very annoying that a tiny film protector is so hard to come by. I found a very good film protector for my SonyEriccson P900 just browsing around but that was $30 for 2 pieces of flimsy sheets :-(.

what's the big deal? - just get a screen protector from any of the ipaq protectors avail - I bought a pack , trimmed one down and put a new protector every 6 months on all three of my ipods...

great case...for a screen protector i use a trimmed down fellowes WriteRight PDA screen cover....
pros:4 corner protection, doesnt add bulk
cons:hard to dock (have to roll up bottom)
no wheel cover no screen cover (though a small problem with the PDA cover

I don't know anything about the ipod mini -I want to use it when I go jogging, is it jog proof, and would you say it was easy to get the hang of - I am not v. computer literate. Is it a good buy?

I have the Blue mini w/ blue speck cover. I really like how it brings out a more "pastel-like" color to it. It fits very well...though like everyone else said..it'd be nice to have a screen cover.

I have the blue/white/green skins and they are too sticky! You can't even get them in your pocket lol but other then that they're great!

(Anyone know a trick to get them on easier?)

Good fit on the mini, after a while of taking the skin on and off the bottom corners started to have small rips.
Very sticky and hard put in pocket, lacks belt clip and screen protector.
