It looks like the case gives the mini good protection, but that is not the most attractive case for the mini. People buy the mini for the different colors and sleekness of it's aluminum shell. This case hides all of that and it just doesn't look right. I'm waiting for a case that will protect my mini, but can still use the included Apple belt clip.

Ancestor of the ugly cellphone case.
I really doubt this is going to sell well because it gives a totally different vibe from what mini's gives. Maybe it it came in colors.

I actually bought this, and it's not as bulky as the review picture here indicates. Granted, it is a little thick, but I like the added protection that my mini gets in case it was ever dropped...not that I expect it to because this case is really strong. I guess I was just uncomfortable with the openness of the mini with apple's armband.

I just bought this case tonight! Despite the review, I really do like it. Very unlike me, becuase i **HATE** Cases for iPods, Cells, Etc. Its nice and soft, and it lets you get a good, firm grip on the iPod Mini. I didnt buy it for armband use, so I wont comment on that, but using it simply as a nice, neoprene case works great! I also disagree with the review saying it felt cheap. I personally think it feels nice and high quality. AND it works flawless with the iTrip Mini, which tonight I also purchased, and its got great access to the dock port. I can get the cable in without having to even move the case. Now its not 100% perfect. If you dropped it, You'd probably want some hard impact protection like some other cases offer, but its not a biggy. Overall I'd give it an 8 // 10 (And this is from a guy who hates cases on handheld electronics

This case rocks. I ONLY use this case on my motorcycle and it does the job well. I don't think it looks cheap at all; the construction is very sturdy and high-quality. None of the other cases i found looked like it would be able to stand up to the rigors of being strapped to my arm while going 80+mph through Atlanta. This strap is the perfect size for fitting over a thick leather jacket and the velcro is strong enough to handle wind, bumps, potholes, bugs, wheelies, and a few g's of braking when an idiot pulls out in front of me. I'm kind of glad there is no click wheel protection as a gloved hand would slide all over the vinyl. The case is great for riding but is a bit bulky for general carrying around, but like Rob1547, i hate cases for electronics.

I think this case is pretty good. I got it a couple of days ago and find that the only flaw is the plastic knob on the back. It sticks out and makes it hard to put my iPod down on a flat surface. Also, the belt clip does not lock into a certain position, so it swings when you walk. All in all, though, I think that this is a good case as a replacement for the DC/Incase sleeve (don't buy it, they stamped the DC label onto a crappy case so that you are willing to pay to get your iPod scratched). Get this case ESPECIALLY if you have a 4g.

I have this case.It has a great feel and extra padded cushions on the sides. The cut out for wheel is well fitted only exposing the wheel. The look is not too bad.If your looking for protectin and a good fit for your mini I recomend this for you!

I own this case and love it. It fits the mini nice and snug and feels like it would offer plenty of protection from an accidental drop (too scared to test that theory!). The arm band is great for running or working out and the belt clip also works great for the same thing. I like the fact that the belt clip does not "lock in place" because when you are working out or moving around it will move with you, lessening the chances that the mini will come unclipped from you! It also works great with the Airplay FM Transmitter - I can tool around with the top off on the Wrangler with the belt clip on the sun visor and clip the mini on and off the clip real easily to make any minor adjustments for my listening pleasure!
