I am very happy with my Sonic eVo iSkin that i purchased. It fits perfectly and the screen protector is GREAT. It doesn't scratch the screen at all and fits under the iSkin very well. Every once in a while you have to adjust the screen because if it has been in a bag it moves around, but this isn't such a big deal. the lint-attraction isn't as big a problem as its hyped up to be... i have to clean it about once every 3 months. i don't have a problem with the uncovered buttons and scroll-wheel -- i haven't gotten a scratch on either, but i'm a pretty careful with my iPod. i don't use an iTrip, dock, or belt clip, so these problems don't pertain to me. my one problem is that it is pretty bulky, but i guess as far as iPod cases go this is the slimmest case, so this can't be helped.

i believe i invested my money in a good product. it does what it is meant to do... protect my iPod from scratches and drops. i don't expect any more from it.

I just bought the Ghost version and am pleased with it so far. Can someone tell me where can I find ways to mod the skin so it can fit into the dock without literally yanking the skin off?

hey hey! have just ordered a pink evo case (just cos it was cute...tho apparently it's better than the others colour-wise anyway, so cool). but was really just wondering, has anyone seen the 'brushed' ipods? a mate saw something about it on the net, says you have to rub it with a washing up sponge and it looks 'well cool, like factory steel'? has anyone heard this? and can explain it in real terms? cos i don't really get it.
guess when this case comes it won't really matter anyway.

Well after EXTENSIVE research...i finally decided that the eVo2 was the case for me. I have the 4th generation iPod so naturally i wanted a case that was stylish and effective. Well i just received my eVo2 yesterday and here are the stats:

THE GOOD:all around protection, every corner is protected. I got pink because i heard its the closest to the depicted color, and it came pretty pink is a good look. Also the feel of the rubber is great and you feel confident that your iPod is protected. Also the plastic that goes over the screen is great as well as clear.

THE BAD: well because i researched i knew better than to use the clip, and much to my dissapointment IT IS CHEESY!!! so i took that sucker off immediately. DO NOT USE THE CLIP!!! also yes it is true the case attracts lint like i dont know what. Lastly...once you receive the case its hard not to say to yourself "i spent 30 dollars on this!!" " because it is just a seamless peice of rubber....but....i guess 30 dollars is better than paying 300 for a brand new iPod. Oh and people please dont get excited over the clear placstic case that comes with the iskin....its plastic with a zipper so u know its cheap....cute but probably wont last long....i just had probs with my zipper this morning

SO OVERALL: this case does in fact do what its supposed to, which is to protect....but as with anything u buy there are going to be negatives....just be careful with ur iPod in general and u should be fine. Ill write u guys back if i drop the iPod while in the iskin and tell u how protective it was.

Oh i forgot to mention that despite the negatives I AM PLEASED with my if u ordered it already don't fret...just take my advice and can the clip and keep it away from lint or animals smile oh and duh, keep away from heat ITS RUBBER PEOPLE!!! lol

Just bought myself the Artic iSkin for my 3G 15gig. It's not too bad; the belt clip is dodgy, but, besides that, it offers solid protection.

However, it makes your 10/15/20gig iPod around the thickness of a 40GB iPod, and a little wider. ~4mm added thickness; doesn't sound like much, but it is. Sorta weird at first, but I suppose I'll get used to it. Just irritating because it doesn't slip into the 'phone slit' in the bottom of my shorts' pocket anymore.

Ok, I am really really confused. I ordered the iskin eVo from in sonic blue.
I was just surfing around, and found a website called They have a product called #### Exo ipod case, which looks exactly like the eVo, complete with plastic belt clip, clear screen protector, heat release pores, etc. the only differences is a little loop on the side for a strap or something. The thing is, this thing comes in 40 colors. The iSkin only has like 10, none of which I particularly love. Does anyone know anything about this #### Exo? Is it as good as the iskin? is it the same thing? I'm kind of new to the ipod accessory world, although I've had my 3rd gen ipod for awhile.

I am thinking about buying a case. Should I buy the iskin evo or the exo3? please help.

I have a carbon evo and its been great.. well, for awhile. its easy to use the buttons & stuff but my case seems to have gotten a little loose, so it doesn't stay tight on the top and that makes it harder to use the lock button, which i use a lot. does anybody have any suggestions to make it tigher? i've taken the clip off (i didn't use it & it just made it hard to keep in my pocket- speaking of that i lost the instructions & had to email iskin asking for help in removing it, they replied quickly and with good instructions). also two of the corners on the screen protector broke off ~2 weeks ago. i got my iskin in july and its been perfect until now. i'm not using it at the moment but i really liked it when it worked good so i'm hoping i can find a way to make it tight again, and to get the ishades for christmas.

Own: iPod 3G 15GB // Arctic eVo... I bought the 3G cause the 4G is crap. Touch wheel is much better in that it has no mechanical parts. The belt clip does scratch the back :[ and so far mine has not broken. I would recommend the eVo. And for all you b***ards with fat fingers, lose some weight because its not that hard to access the 4 top buttons.

from looking at the pictures, the rear heat release pores look pretty ugly...are they as bad as i think they are?

I've had my Sonic iSkin eVo for almost a year, and it seems to really work well. I don't use the belt clip at all, since I don't wear a belt. I bought the case at the Apple store, so I had no trouble with having a different color than expected, and no shiping costs.

If you don't want a belt clip, and you can get the case without paying a shipping charge, I think that this would be a great choice.
