ok, first, you guys are all suckers...this thing is made by some company in china and sold for about $15 under the "i.sound" brand name, they are exactly the same!!!

well, anyway, these speakers rock, but please, don't play $35 for them, search around, you'll find them for less...these guys must make a pretty penny off this thing, lmao

they probably have some small operation that buys a huge shipment of these and just puts them loose in a box, not a healthy busness is it?

Price from Pacific Rim has now dropped to $9.99, which includes the DC charger and is compatible with iPod and iPod nano. Shipping is extra and paid directly to Pacific Rim as part of the order.

However, be warned, if you are outside the U.S., handling fees (i.e. customs fees) are NOT included or charged by Pacific Rim - instead you will receive an additional bill from FedEx for these charges after they are shipped. Pacific Rim's website makes NO mention of this fact and I was quite shocked to receive a bill for an extra $12.50 on top of the speaker cost and shipping cost I'd alread paid to Pacific Rim :(

I just ordered one for my nano 2G - note that the dock/stand doesn't work with nano 2G, meaning you have to lay your nano upside down or on the side. So it's messier than the JLAB or podwave solutions - you have all these various parts to carry (the stand and the 'bridge' to hold th stand does not fold into the compact rectangle and have to be carried separately if you are going to use them). Nonetheless the speakers work great for the price ($9.99 on sale +$4.39 shipping, directly throuh http://www.pacrimtechnologies.com/detail.aspx?ID=43)

But have to add that the customer service is impeccable! I wrote an email letting them know of this (since it was not mentioned on their website) - and within a day someone called me to inquiry about it. Amazing!

I, too, ordered my travel speakers directly from Pacific Rim. However, when they arrived, the left speaker was defective. It did not work at all. I was quite dissatisfied with the customer service at Pacific Rim. I had to return the speakers at my expense before they would replace them. In the end, I paid over $12 in shipping for $7 product. Not a smart move on my part. The response from customer service was marginal and basically said it was my problem that they were defective and I had to pay to return them to get a working product. I would never order from their company again.
