It looks really nice, but does it come with more than one? I can't see myself paying $20 for just one case.

Looks nice, but I agree that the price seems a bit prohibitive.

It looks like a fairly nice case however at the $19.99 price I have my doubts in regards to how many people will really step with up that kind of cash for the type of investment this is.
$14.99 would have been much more suitable in my opinion and is a price point in which I'm sure many would be much more inclined to purchase at.
In any regards, seems nice.

What I'm really most happy about is the ability to lose the cap. Thank goodness those Specks didn't just design-out that possibility!
B+ was overly kind. Try D+.

I tried this product and hated it.
1) the cap is not exactly the same color as the shuffle and looks awkward, and you cant take the cap cover off and use it on your original cap.
2) while the original cap has a set of spring loaded pieces that click into the holes in the usb port, the cap you get with this case simply has metal protrusions. you risk scratching your usb port with them.
3)the gaping hole in the back lets dust get under the case, and then the case rubs against whatever dirt got in and scratches your ipod.
wouldnt buy it. bought it from circuit city and returned it the next day.

I bought this case at the Apple Store figuring if Apple endorsed the product by selling it, it would be a safe product to buy. It was great for about a month.
But today, this case actually BROKE my Shuffle. The Speck cap adhered itself to the Speck case, refusing to come loose. I wiggled the cap repeatedly and after about 5 minutes of applying increasing pressure during the wiggle, the entire bottom of my Shuffle broke loose from the rest of the Shuffle body.
Now, the case is STILL stuck on my Shuffle and I can't get it off. The cap is still stuck onto the USB plug but now the plug is completely dislodged from the rest of the Shuffle. It's all going back to the Apple Store tomorrow, at which point I'm expecting a refund on the Speck case and a new Shuffle.

One more bad design. I'm buying a case to protect the vulnerable spots on the back of the iPod- particularly the power switch. Why make a case that protects the iPod's plastic casing (the cosmetic aspect of the iPod) and leaves the inside electronics open to small particles of dust, moisture, and other hazards?
COVER THE POWER SWITCH! If I want to switch it on or off, I'll remove it from the case. Otherwise, I can always put it on PAUSE.
