don't think i agree with the rating. i've seen the case, and it looks good; however, i bought the power support case as it completely covers the shuffle, protecting it very well from moisture [sweat mainly, as i use it for cycling]. the tunewear case would do well, except that it leaves the back switch uncovered, where moisture has been reported to seep in, cutting power to the shuffle for a short time. the price is good, but in my opinion, the case only protects the esthetics of the shuffle from dropping or keys ect. my concern is protecting the operation, not esthetics. if you only care how it looks, the tunewear case does look good.

The case is more protective of the shuffle than around 80% of the ones we've seen, looks better than virtually all of them, and sells at a better or comparable price. As we said in the review, it's not the perfect case (and someone's going to find something to complain about), but we think it's great, and worthy of the flat A. MCE Technologies is one of the vendors.

It also is limiting in that you can only use it with a lanyard. No clip or other option. The ridges are protective, I'm sure, but they are overkill. The shuffle isn't that fragile to begin with- the power support case should be more than protective enough and it covers the whole thing- very important for those who exercise in high humidity areas... something the editors here overlook.
I probably would have went with an A- or B+ on this one.
