The clip idea is really smart. Personally I'm not sure I would care if the aluminum is a bit on the thin side- it is such a small case to begin with that flex isn't a major concern. Too bad they didn't come up with some way (silicone inserts, perhaps) to cover the front and rear holes, because then this would be perfect.

Not good for my purposes. The one place that needs the most protection- the power switch- is exposed. When I wear my iPod on a lanyard and sweat, I don't want sweat seeping into the power switch! Likewise, when the Shuffle's in my pocket, I don't want dust and lint going in there, either! Really, the switch doesn't need to be exposed! I'll open the case to turn it off. I can pause the shuffle whenever I want, otherwise.

This case lists for $19.95 on the corecases web site, not the $14.90 mentioned above.

After looking around everywhere for the Griffon iVault "out of stock"
I decided to give this a try, well im glad I did, It was shipped very fast, even Corey left a post-it note inside thanking me for my order and asking me to tell him if I liked it.
Its a very elegant/smooth case, if you are looking for the best shuffle case, this is it.
