At least it's NOT titled icableyoyo...

This seems like a fairly reasonable storage solution, no different than a reel or take-up spool for power extention cords for the workshop or yardwork. It's certainly a more REFINED look than using twist or zip-type ties, and it does somewhat conceal the cabling when not in use.

Not bad. Another elegant design worth considering.

i still prefer smartwrap. it looks better, and is easier to put on and take off.

Saw this at Macworld Boston, liked it enough to buy it. Smart and simple. Worth $5? Dunno. Note to Jeremy (reviewer)-- The center piece that has the adhesive is only needed if using the adhesive. Pop it out if you don't need it.

i agree with punkrockavocado, i bought a smartwrap and compared with my colleagues' cableyoyo, my smartwrap is only 1/3 the size of cable yoyo...

If you have an open portable like the K81DJ, it's a perfect match for the Cable Yo-Yo; I found them for sale at the Container Store for under $5. It's very attractive, though oversized by about 1/3, IMO. Handsome product, and you can get the pesky adhesive off by pulling that section off.
