Sounds good! Do ya think the Core Case will fit on the iHome?

Mine just arrived today.

It's so much more nifty than the other black aliminium case I'd used previously, which, though great looking has a clip and and a hinge, which spoil the overall effect.

This, though made of thinner material, shields the device perfectly and securely and I've no problem with the hold switch etc being open..

They still appear to be hidden away from harm.

All in all, dead chuffed.

we ordered two of the black cases, when the package arrived core case had sent three! they included an extra green one, with a nice note thanking us for the order and explaining the third case was to give to a friend, to help spread the word. so first off, the customer service is great!

about the case, i couldn't ask for a better ipod nano case. i'm kind of a stickler for looks, and this case preserves everything i love about the nano, compactness, sleek styling and simplicity. it covers everything i want covered. the wheel is open but the border is well protected, as is the hold switch and the bottom port, so no dust will be getting in through those opening. and i'm just so relieved to finally have a super protective case that doesn't require me to take the nano out every time i want to charge it or change music.

unlike most of the silicone cases, the aluminum core case doesn't attract dust and cat hairs from my house. this case feels solid, protective and absolutely worth the $20 because i know if i ever take the nano out, it will be like brand new! i've tried a number of different cases (plastic, leather and metal) for the 1st and 3rd gen, and the nano, and this is by far my favourite. i'll absolutely be passing on the complimentary case to a good friend! definitely gets a A from me.

I've had the case for a couple months now. Here's my good & bad:

Good: It's an attractive case that provides a good deal of protection. The inside is lined to prevent any damage from the case to the iPod. The lanyard hole is nice and the case snaps together very securely.

Bad: The belt clip is worthless. I like the idea of a removable belt clip so I don't have to put up with the bulk when I don't need it, but this clip just doesn't stay on. If you are very careful and stationary, it is fine, but any movement (like exercising) or downward pressure on the case while it is clipped will cause the clip to come off of the case. Plus, to really attach it properly, you need to remove the Nano from the case (to get the clip through both slots).

The belt clip was a major point of me having a case. So while I love the case itself, this factor is forcing me to buy another case with better functionality.

I got my CoreCase today, and I love it. It preserves the great look of the nano without adding bulk, and I have no worries about the level of protection it offers.

I have a (square) Power Support silicone jacket for my mini, and I knew that I didn't want to go the silicone/rubber route for the nano. The lint drives me crazy, plus the material makes it nearly impossible to slip the mini in my pocket. The nano CoreCase easily slips into my pocket and protects everything I want protected. It's too bad that making a CoreCase for the mini isn't lucrative, because I'd order one for my mini immediately.

Another satisfied customer!

Core Case also sent me an extra case in my order, so definitely a shout out for customer service.

The Nano fits very snuggly into the completely lined case - very nice. The screen protector is very clear and the lanyard attachment is very low profile. (It also comes with a lanyard). My one complaint is that the clip is very flimsy. The Innopocket Metal Deluxe Cases seem to have a much better clip. Unfortunately they have a hinge on there case which adds more bulk and distorts the shape of the Nano. I’d say a perfect case would be the Core case with the Innopocket Metal Deluxe Case removable clip.

By far, the best aspect of this case is how streamline it is. Once in the case the nano maintains its sleek feel and slides in and out of my pocket with ease. I think the slide together design is very smart. In contrast to the hinges on most metal cases, it adds almost no bulk or shape distortion to the Nano. I was even able to fit my Nano into the cloth sleeve it comes with from Apple after I put it in the Core case - impressive.

For someone interested in a case for use on a lanyard or in your pocket, the Core Case Aluminum is a great option.

I just received my Nano case from CoreCases and I must say that I am impressed! The fit of the case is excellent and has a nice solid feel with the Nano inside. Corey (great guy!) also informs me that they will soon have a click wheel protector. I liked this case because of the belt clip and that is not bulky - after all I wanted the Nano because my iPod Photo is just not as convenient to carry around! Definitely worth a look.

I just received my case yesterday, and while very pleased with the fit and finish of the case, I was unsure of the orange color, as was my wife. I emailed .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) to ask if I could wave the shipping fee for a replacement if I returned the orange one. Not one hour later he had emailed me back. He told me to keep the orange one and that he was sending me a black one for free. Now that is great customer service! This is a great case.
