Great review! If it could charge the iPod, and didn't have that messed up channel thing, I could probably live with it. Oh well, I'll find something better.

Sonic GARBAGE. Plain and simple. Instant go-back.
It's probably been over 30 years since I've used a cheap portable transistor radio...oh, the memories the iCube brings back. Target sells the thing for $60...for kicks I picked one up to try. Generally it's a nice looking device and the yellow-orange backlighting around the volume/power control is even a bit on the classy side. But lame side-firing speaker drivers in a warped cube instantly bring back remembered images and brain-embedded sonic drivel of Panasonic's iconic radio designs from the '70s, only without the funky plastic colors.
Stupid that it won't charge off of AC power, but with that awful audio coming out of the speakers who gonna really care in the end?

Not to mention the fact that the volume control sometimes decides to set itself to "loud" and nothing else, making it inconvenient when I want to hear my music at the office. Additionally, within two weeks of owning it, I now have to prop something behind the iPod for the dock connector to work.
It's cute, but there are better products out there whose prices will probably go down soon.
