Griffin Technology SmartShare Headphone Splitter with Volume Control | iLounge

Thanks for the review. This looks like a nice product and should be very handy on airplane trips if you travel with friends or coworkers and want to both watch either a DVD on the computer or some video on the iPod. I just got some new in-ear headphones and the coworkers I usually travel with have regular earbuds, so especially on a plane, a volume level needed for them to be able to hear movie dialogue would probably blow me out of the seat. Plus, even though percentage-wise, it's a lot more expensive than the alternatives (even at airport locations, I've found splitters for about $7), it's still only $15, so not that big of a deal.

I received mine today: March 6, 2006. I thought folks might be interested in the fact that these are now being shipped.

Vaporware. Buyer beware. As of August 20, 2007 the version that Griffin is shipping is NOT iPhone compabile. They are STILL working on that iPhone adapter cable.
