I love the straight plug!!! I wouldn't buy them just because the sound matters to me but can someone please tell me what the advantage is to the usual "elbow" on the plug of most headphones?

My Griffin EarThumps have a straight plug as well... price isn't that much more than these, and the sound quality is great. Much better than the Apple buds.
