wow i would be afraid of a headcrash (i mean of the harddisk) if using the 5g ipod... just thinking of it accessing the hard drive while the bike is bumping makes me shudder.
and listening to music on a bike on the street is dangerous and even illegal in some areas...

Well, they do specify an iPod Nano - no hard disk to crash. But the damage to the device if you crashed the bike is a different matter; and I agree that having both ears plugged when cycling is pretty dangerous (same when driving a car). On the other hand, I don't see what would be wrong with having only ONE earplug in.
