Skins on my iPod? Not for me

Wow. Looks great. Feels great. Works horribly. This advanced 3M adhesive they're talking about seems like the same garbage I've put onto my PDAs in the past to protect the screens: its static-based so it attracts every bit of dust, it seals in bubbles and stretches out of shape when you try to smooth out said bubbles, and it has one "problem-free" application (so don't bother with their buy 3 get 1 free deal, because switching them out doesn't work). I admit I love the art on the skins, but it pains me to say these are all form, no function. Good idea, bad application (pun intended).

I've used GelaSkins for almost two years and I love them. They are a little spendy at $15 a pop, and are only good for a one-time use, but they are durable and fit the iPod perfectly. During application, when they weren't aligning properly, I was able to reposition them without any stretching. Overall, they are a good product if you like skins.
