Doesn't $530 seems low for a monitor that size?

Not necessarily. You can get the Gateway FPD2185W for $500, and it has DVI-HDCP, VGA, Component, S-Video and Composite Video inputs plus PIP and an integrated 4-port USB 2.0 hub.

This review hits the problem on the head. It's an adequate monitor but has a poorly conceived iPod interface that doesn't permit watching iPod video on the screen. Most of us have enough iPod chargers - why not make this more useful? I too hope that their next iteration will include a built in video capability.

I bought the 22" version of this monitor for my office and was very disappointed. The price seemed low (under $400 at Costco), and the monitor screen is very nice, just as you'd expect from ViewSonic, but my positive comments stop there. The built-in speakers are tinny and just AWFUL. I didn't read the review here before buying (big mistake) so wasn't aware that the unit would require TWO electrical outlets AND two USB ports for all the features to work. Mine's going back, and I'll get a plain vanilla ViewSonic.
