Power Support Silicone Jacket (Round and Square Types) for iPod nano 2G | iLounge

Has anyone ever tried these cases for the 1G nano? The silicone case part looks good but I use a clip alot and wonder about how sturdy they are.

How easy is it to take it off or put it on though? This is very important to me since I use my nano with the fit-for-nano Dock.

To ikim: If you need to take the ipod in and out of the case frequently, I would not recommend this one, as it creates a snug, seal-like fit around the ipod, and frequent removal might stretch it out - especially the bottom - to the point where the silicone won't "bounce back" to its original form (as mentioned in the terrific review).

To users planning largely to keep the nano in its case: The square model is my new favorite ipod case - simple, easy, and beautifully designed. I've been using it on my pink nano for the last 2 weeks and love it. I especially appreciate the open bottom because you can use dock-mounted accessories like the radio remote with it. Just be careful not to lose the silicone insert that fits into the port when you want to cover the dock! (I almost threw it away by accident.)

Finally, the $25 price tag doesn't include shipping. The company is based in CA. Shipping to the East coast (DC) cost an additional $8, or $33 total for the case. I still say it's worth it (note that the case comes with the crystal film screen protector), but the S/H premium is definitely worth a mention. If I were smarter and more patient, I would've pooled orders with a friend to split the S/H.

One thing I forgot to mention, for Dr. J: The clip is a pretty unimpressive 2-dimensional attachment. I used it, and if my belt could talk, it would've said, "Is this a joke?"

The clip is just fine for occasional use, but I wouldn't use it for exercise or anything too bumpy. Generally, this case is best for those who like their cases minimal and uni-functional, but it does that one thing better than any other case I've tried.
