I own both a RoadTrip+ and this new TrafficJamz. Both are by NewerTechnology. The old one works wonderfully. The TrafficJamz stinks. Lots of static, and the control switch is very finicky, and the signal strength is much lower. I with they would go back to the old design!

Why Newertech would replace the wonderful Roadtrip with this piece of junk is beyond me. They actually claim that the transmitters in both units are the same. As if.
I gave my Roadtrip to my sister because it is an easy to use great performing product. I figured I'd just order myself a new one. When I saw it was no longer availabe, I ordered the Trafficjamz on good faith. AVOID THIS PRODUCT!! I even e-mailed Newertech customer service to complain but never heard back from them. Looks like I'm an ex-Newertech fan.

Actually I found this product to work just as well as the RoadTrip!. At first I was disappointed that it does not go down to 87.9 anymore, but then I found this website that tells you the best radio stations for your zipcode to use your fm transmitter. You can find it here
After that it works great. And the price is much better than any of the other fm transmitters out there that don't work as well. Newertech does it again!
