Of course, transfer time depends upon the speed of your Tivo's connection as well as the quality the show is encoded at. We routinely stream shows set at high quality between two Series 2 Tivos with 802.11G and start watching immediately. Our experience is 30 minute recordings transfer in 20 minutes or less.
