Can you tell me if this can be recharged overseas on a 220v system? The picture of the AC Adapter isn't clear enough for me to read the specs, please let me know the specified voltage.

This is actually a fantastic portable unit which I keep with me at all times, together with ziplinq cables for my iPod, my cell phone and my Palm, as well as its own charge cable which can go into any USB port.
It's small and lightweight, small, and lightweight (about 3 oz.), and has actually saved me more than once while recording to my iPod from my Belkin unit, which has a pass-through for charging.
Highly recommended.

There's a good reason that this device, like MacAlly's very similar JBox, has an USB port, rather than some dedicated iPod connection: it can be used with other USB-charged devices like PDAs, cell phones, even some digital cameras and camcorders. It also will power my iPod through the Belkin TuneTalk voice recorder, which has a mini-USB port for charging and syncing. Instead of the bulky cable that comes with this unit, one can carry one of the retractable iPod cables (and others) made by Boxwave and others. I have several such retractable cables--phone; Ethernet; USB; USB-to-mini USB; Palm TX; Samsung cell phone; iPod; FireWire 6-6 and 6-4; and others.

I've used the original BTI iPod Battery for about 2 years now. While it provides outstanding performance its bulk, short ipod-only cord and ipod mounting system are serious annoyances (not to mention its price). The UPB10 is only slightly larger than my ipod mini, the USB sockets allow you to use it for different devices and it can recharge the mini 5 or 6 times before it must be recharged itself. The price at Staples was $60 (Canadian) so it is well below the BTI models. The drawback I've found is that the charge level light is not very precise, about like the charge meter on the mini itself. Also, cord management can be a challenge if you carry the ipod and the UPB while they are attached.
In answer to the question it has a universal voltage power supply, 100 to 240 VAC input.
