I agree with all your assessments of the look and sound of Texas Hold'em, but I still find myself wanting to play it all the time. The gameplay itself is great, and not at all hard to play with the iPod's controls. The mechanics of the game are well thought out. I also find it exactly challenging enough to keep me coming back, but not so hard that I get frustrated.
Looks and sound are a C, C-. Gameplay is an A+. So your rating is probably spot on, at least IMHO.

Gameplay is definitely an A+. Has anyone else noticed the players have tells? It's genious.
