I picked up one of these pouches today and it is the best pouch/case I have reviewed for the iPhone. Unlike the incase pouch, you can easily remove the iPhone with one hand. The five open cutouts on the pouch aren't as bad as some reviews say they are. I mean it covers the iPhone perfectly and I feel that I have found the right pouch/case for my iPhone. I highly recommend this pouch for people that like a horizontal pouch on there hip. It really fits great on my side and I feel confident that the iPhone is securely on my hip.

Just to let everyone know that I have been in contact with DLO about two hip pouches that are coming out soon. They have wonderful customer service, too. They are a great company to buy from. I am very impressed!

I have the black leather DLO hipcase. It fits the iPhone perfectly, looks great and is very secure on my belt. The clip is very unobtrusive, so I sometimes carry my iPhone in the holster in my pocket.

I bought the DLO hipcase when I purchased my iPhone from an AT&T;store on June 30th. For the most part it's a good design with one grave exception that ultimately ended up costing me $249. Those exposed corners are killer. Due to my poor design (I'm somewhat obese) the case would occasionally pop off of my belt. The drop usually resulted in a corner striking pavement or cement. Eventually the upper right corner of my iPhone sustained enough damage that the frame surrounding the sleep button bent to the point where it "permanently" depressed the sleep/wake button, putting my iPhone at the mercy of it's software to sleep it. Battery life suffered and I had no choice but to send it into Apple's repair depot. Why $249? That's Apple's standard repair fee, I suspect because it covers the cost of replacement (which they did, I now have a different but brand new [?] iPhone)
