I ordered one for use on my motorcycle (kind of difficult to make any changes when wearing gloves on the 3G). Mine works perfectly fine (remote mounted on the handlebars, and the iPod in a Joe Rocket Manta tankbag). The one disappointing factor for me is Griffin's refusal to sell additional cradles for the remote. I'd like to be able to have the cradle ready to go in my truck and motorhome, since wrapping the handlebars where I did makes it inconvenient to remove the cradle.

I was quite happy with the Airclick, for about 2 weeks. It works as advertised however with average use on an iPod holstered on a belt the receiver snapped off, leaving the mini jack in the iPod. It seems to me after examining the innards (of my now broken Airclick) that there is very little holding the mini jack to the actual housing of the receiver. I hope they reinforce this in a revision to this product.

I've had the Airclick for about 4 weeks initially it was working fine then it just stopped,so i changed the battery it still did'nt go then i re-set the pairing switch on the back of the reciever and that fixed it for a couple of days and then it stopped again and now it's completely dead, i don't know if this has happened to anybody else or if mine is just a dodgy one, also the range on mine when going was about an 1" which is fine for using in the car but not if you wanted to operate it in the house.

I see you can't use the ITrip and Airclick together, but can you use RoadTrip and Airclick together?

My USB Airclick lasted about five minutes and four of those were getting it out of the stupid plastic packaging. The USB plug fell apart before I could even plug it in to my PC....
Plus I had to wait 30 days to get it delivered (I ordered from Griffin's website)..I have limited confidence I must say

I want to be able to control my ipod in my backpack with the AirClick or possibly another remote (i don’t like taking my iPod out on the bus I take to work). Does anyone know if I will have to point the AirClick towards my backpack when outside in order for it to work? The review say's it dosen't need line of sight... but doesn't the signal requier walls and objects to bounce off of? What about the other remotes. Which remote can handle this situation the best?
Thanks if anyone knows.

My 60G photo IPOD + HP is a week old and it has the same problem with the AirClick remote. I Called HP customer support and they claimed it is the only and latest generation of IPOD released by Apple and HP. Sounds like the problem is still exist with the latest generation or I am not told the truth by HP.

I just bought AirClick for iPod mini this weekend and have only had an opportunity to use it a few times. So far, it works great and it does pretty much everything they say it will. We entertain on our patio quite often and I have outdoor speakers for music. I've always had to walk to and fro my office to adjust volume or change tracks. I took the remote outside last night. There are 4 walls between my office and the patio and it is a good 40-45 feet away and it worked great. I did have to stand close to the door and point it directly towards the receiver... I also had to give the buttons a good solid press, but it worked great. And it sure beat the walk down the hall! The only compaint that I have for AirClick and many of the other remotes is that there is no "menu" or "back" button to allow navigating between artists and albums. But I'm sure it's only a matter of time. I highly recommend this remote.

I own an AirClick and use it with my 4th gen 40GB iPod. It works great in either of my cars, but doesn't work very well in my house. It works fine with in 10 feet with the remote pointed directly toward the receiver. Sometimes it works through a wall or 1/2 way down our hallway, but not consistently at all! So I'm dissapointed, but I'm going to keep it because most of my usage will be in my car or in close range.

I use the airclick in my car with a 60Gig ipod photo and the kensington FM transmitter. I can tuck the ipod away and operate it with the airclick. I tried attaching the airclick to the steering wheel but did not like that ( it got in the way when turning) so now I have it attached to the sunvisor.
It works very well, no complaints.

i want to add myself to the list of people not satisfied with the airclick.
i got two of them (for me and my dad) and they had an effective range of about 5 inches. the more you got away, the less probable it got that it recieved my commands. put myself between ipod and remote, and nothing happened...
so seriously i don't know where the A- came from.
i changed batteries (BRAND NEW) with the same results.
