Who gives a she-ite about FM Radio? It's absolute bollocks! This is one of the main reasons why I have an iPod. So I don't have to listen to idiotic dj's, top forty crap and ads that last forever.

I say make a version that drops the recording features and acts as an FM reciever and transmitter in one. I'd pay $50 for that, fo' sho'!

Could we please have an iPod or iPod attachment that does AM as well as FM? I know it's harder, but it would be way more useful.

I bought one of these things hoping that it would play radio through my Bose Docking Station. Nowhere on the packaging does it say it only plays through the headphones. However, it only plays through the headphones, not through any docking connector at all. So if you want to play the radio through the computer look for a better product.

I contacted customer support and I kept getting getting cryptic and deceptive replies until finally they admitted that it will not play through the docking port.

Over all, I was disappointed in the product and extremely disappointed in the packaging, and very disappointed with the Tech support at Griffin. I would be extremely wary of ever doing business with them again.

So if I read correctly...there isn't even a possibility for a company such as Griffin to make a recorder to hook up to the nano? (please let me know)

I've been looking to see if I could find one so I could record lectures from professors...that really sucks if it's not even possible, but if it is possible I would like to see it made with the recorder in white seeing as I wouldn't want it in black with a white iPod nano...that would just be kinda silly looking.

Dude, you knew when you bought your nano that it couldn't record. Griffin can't implement anything if Apple hasn't built the framework. Only the full-sized iPods support recording.

Now, that being said, it's ironic that Griffin has dropped this feature [recording]while the new iPods support much higher recording levels.

I tried two of the white iFM models with my 3G iPod and both times the recording quality whether FM or voice was horrible. A big disappointment. It does work fine as a remote and to listen to FM on the 3G iPod.

Thing that bugs me most about my white iFM recorder is that 6 months later and it's broker because Griffin didn't bother to identify and strengthen its weakest part, i.e. where the cable connects to the plug that attached to the iPod headphone port. So flimsy, it came apart after maybe a month and I know it was a matter of time before the wores would come apart. Talk about throw-away... (now I gotta look for another one, I really like what it does, I'll have to figure out a duct tape fix...)
