The nice thing is that Belkin attached all of signal lines on their Firewire-Ipod line. That means you can use as a backup cable to sync your iPod up to your Mac. I ended up not using the cigarette charger after I got my Monster, but I still use the cable! I wish all products were this recyclable.

I have a PowerPod and iTrip, and the two work very well together. Nothing fancy - the PowerPod just charges and does it well.
But here is a little tip: When charging, the PowerPod references the iPod to the car's electrical ground (of course). This results in substantially improved functionality of the iTrip - you can really notice how the reception improves when the iPod is charging. On long trips, we just leave the iPod plugged in so that the iTrip works best. A nice duo.

I got this for my 5 GB iPod when it first came out. At the time it was the ONLY car charger solution for the iPod. It served me well but it came with a very ugly and thick FireWire cable back then

I use this car charger with a 3G 10GB iPod, and I am very happy with the simplicity of this charger. I like how the plug looks, but it is a little loose in the car outlet.
Great choice for any iPod user, except if you use an iPod Shuffle like BIGP said.

The Powerpod works perfectly with my new 6 GB mini. Just as advertised and cheap at ecost.com.

I use this with my 30G iPod. It charges the ipod just fine BUT I notice a distinct 'hiss' coming through the car speakers when my iPod is plugged into the PowerPod.
Other than the hiss, which is loud enough to affect the music, the device works fine.
