Those ring-like things on the in-ear attachments look painful.

I have these headphones (they came with this iRiver waterproof set-up I received as a gift). They sound really funky. There are moments when you are under water that they sound normal... otherwise VERY tinny and overall sharp sound. They do stay on pretty well when I'm surfing, but sound... D- at best.

I have a pair of these headphones as well and they sound HORRIBLE. There is absolutely no bass..all treble. And they fit funky too.

I have just purchased these headphones. They are useable UNDER the water. Trying to swim with them, the audio cuts in and out. If I dont move underwater they work great. For a lack of waterproof options, I recommend this product.
