Luckily there was a store in town that sold these. I bought the black one and I really am impressed. The one bad thing is how easily this thing attracts dust.

oh yeah, and the hole for the head phones isn't big enough for my Sony 818LP headphones

I purchased two evo3's and one pair of earphones. Recieved them right on time. I wish I had ordered a second pair of earphones for the other skin though. The earphones just make the evo3 complete, and I like the idea of how the right earphone wraps behind my neck instead of hanging down in front of me, allowing me to listen to my ipod at work(For safety reasons). Not to mention they sound pretty good too.

There is nothing wrong with the evo3. The people crying about not being able to use the hold button just don't know how to work it. I figured it out on my own, but if you read the instructions it tells you how easy it really is to lock and unlock.

As for the belt clip, I dont see anything wrong with it unless you plan on listening to your ipod on a roller coaster ride. The clip is weaker than most belt clips I've seen, but it will work just fine for most things (the most I've done with it was take it jogging). Plus, it's VERY easy to take off if you dont like it.

I don't know if people are playing in a sandbox with their ipod, but the little dirt/fuzz that it does collect, is easily wipped off. Maybe they have purchased the white skin and it shows better? I don't know, but my black g5 in the atomic green looks great and I rarely find myself wipping dirt or fuzz off of it. My friend also got the blue, with his white ipod, and it also looks amazing. The grey click wheel (for those who don't like it) is unoticable and when directing your attention to, looks white underneath the blue. Otherwise you don't even notice the ipods natural color.

All in all I would recommend this to anyone. I can finally take my ipod to work and not worry about scratches. It's not only a case for your ipod, it's a complete upgrade of your ipod. I don't use a dock with my ipod though, so from the looks of the other post, it seems that it will have to be one or the other. (I would chose the skin) = )

If you all want an easy way to get an iskin, buy it on ebay!!!! I ordered one off there for only $28.98 including S&H, which is significantly lower than most asking prices.. Plus, I ordered it late at night on the 18th, and received it today on the 20th. And that was with Normal shipping not express or anything.

Anoher Idea, If you do not like ur "revo-clip" on ur ipod, but also do not like the "bubble" on the back, from the missing piece, simply take an old, cheapo, thin, mouse pad, and trace the circle thing that goes in its place. Cut it out and place it in there with the black grip side against the ipod.. It gets rid of the bubble and keeps ur ipod still looking sleek..

I bought the blush pink skin, and i used an old purple psychedelic looking mouse pad, and to tell you the truth it looks really awesome.. Totally unique.. Ive had alot of complemnts on it already and its only the first day...

I hope i helped someone with their iskin issues!!

I just got my iSkin today and I am actually very pleased. It looks really good and has a snug fit. All of the ipod is protected fully. the plastic screen which I was worried would scratch the ipod screen actually being held off the screen by about 1mm and does not shift or move out of place. it looks good and protects my ipod! My advice is to someone who wants to protect their ipod to the maximum without loosing the goodlooks then this is the one to get!

Just got this today (The Arctic colored one) and love it all ready, seems like a quality product. My ipod is pretty scratched from not having a case but after cleaning it and putting the faceplate of this case on the scratches are barely noticable. I love it. I ordered it Monday morning at around 2am and It came in today (Tuesday) at around noon time!

Excellent product and fast delivery. I'll post a followup after I use it for a few weeks.

Best,

Eric

Pleased with the black case for my 60G in black. The hold switch is a bit unpredictable - sometimes it seems to take no effort to work, and other times you have to dig at it with a nail. Thought I'd share a tip from a co-worker to help minimize the lint attraction: just a bit of *Armour All* applied with a lint free cloth works wonders.

Hi, I was thinking of buying a black Iskin case for my 30 Gb Ipod. If someone has purchased one, will you please let me know if the visibility is good, or if it is not should I buy the case in another color?

Thank you

Note that if you are going to be running video to your tv through the headphone port the case needs to be removed or the video will not show on the tv, the case prevents a good connection

How do you actually get the iPod into the case?

How does that clear covering attach to the case?

Will the case work with the SendStation PocketDock?

hello everyone, it seems there's an official solution on how to use the hold switch through the case, can someone point me where I can find it? or tell me how to do it right? I just don't know how to switch the hold button with the case on. Thanks a lot.

and I have to say this is a great case, so comfortable to hold the ipod with it on. I got a white one today.

I bought the black evo3 for my 30GB black ipod and mostly I really like it. The hold button is very difficult to move, but I never use the hold button anyway, so this doesn't bother me. I did take out the belt clip, I agree that it felt very flimsy, and probably would not ever use it.

My only real complaint about it is how incredibly dirty it gets, especially inside the click wheel area. This thing is a magnet for dust and lint. I was hoping that after washing it several times this would go away, but it hasn't so far. I think the balck case shows off the dirt more than another color would, and wish that I had listened to the previous review who said not to go with black for this reason.

All in all, I would recomend this case because I don't think that there is a comparable silicone case that offers protection for both the click wheel and the screen. Just expect it to have a fuzzy appearance all the time.

I've had my case for about a week now and I love it; it provides good protection and I doubt that it 'll begin to fall apart for years. All that said, there are some problems: It won't fit into my iHome dock( which really sucks; Ihave to take the case off every time I want to use it) and the belt clip is hard to get on, let alone get off a belt loop! All in all I'm happy with my case though.

Just got mine today. I've been waiting for this case to ship to Thailand since it's first day out. It came in four days ago and my friend told me about it today. I couldn't stop jumping up and down! I quickly went out and bought one. I know that a lot of people complain about the hold switch, but hell, the faceplate already prevents any accidental click wheel operations, so I don't need to worry about that. What I don't like about this case is the silicone around the headphone port. Only apple earbuds get a good fit, but if I use other earphones which have an L-shaped connector, then the fit will be loose, and my headphone port won't be snappy anymore, jacks will just slide in and out, they won't *snap*.

I was wondering if the Arctic color was an opaque white or see-thru. Thanks!

I got the blue case for my white iPod (from a great seller called "opti-girl" on Amazon who beat the retail price) and it looks pretty cool. Someone asked how you put it on...there are instructions included, pretty easy to follow, so don't worry. I like how it makes the iPod more 'grippy' and it won't slide off my desk. The feel of the clickwheel is improved, which is a plus in my book.

Drawbacks: using different headphones than the ones Apple provides is probably impossible because the headphone hole is round, and the hold switch is a little tricky to use if you're not a girl with long nails!

Some cleaning tips:

Use a disposable dust cloth on the iPod and the VISOR shield before you install the case. Yes, the silicone is a lint & dust magnet, but a lint roller works great on it.

Overall I think this is a great investment for your iPod.
