just got mine today - an arctic case for my white 60 gb ipod with video. i ordered it on the 17th and finally got it today, the 30th. it's a great product, but the shipping process could have been faster. anyway, it was worth the wait.

My experience was great.

I ordered on the 26th. The same day I mailed iSkin asking when would the evo3 ship. The next day I received a reply from Julie:

"Thank you for contacting iSkin Customer Service.

We are currently closed. UPS will open on Dec. 28th and we'll do our best to process your shipment once the business is open on Dec. 28th.

Regards,

iSkin Customer Service"

The order shipped on the 28th (Got the UPS# and everything was correct) The order was received on the 29th.

The review is right about the Clip. I won't really use it. I will test the apple dock when I get it and see if it fits.

The plastic cover came with some scratches on the front/top. I don't mind that. I like the fact that the plastic cover never touches the ipod, because the case has a lip surrounding all the ipod to slip the plastic in there.

I've been able to use the Lock button with success.

Overall, the case is perfect (without the clip).

Ordered on Amazon Marketplace on 12/28. They said it was in stock and would ship in 1-3 days. Order status on iskin.com was ready to ship on the 29th and 30th. Now it says that it is out of stock. With the statements they make about refunds, this all adds up to extremely poor customer service. I am going to file a complaint with my credit card company and contest the charge. It's a real shame because it seems like they produce a good product. I would recommend to corporate that they stop selling direct until they get their customer service up to par as this is doing real damage to their companies image.

I think everyone wants to know what the artic case looks like on the black ipod.

I bought 2 artic for myself and a friend and have yet to see a pic of it. Order is still "on order" Thinking about getting the black case instead. If anyone can post a pic or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) with the either the black on artic or black on black, I would be grateful.

I am sorry that I bought this product.

The belt clip was NOT easy for me to remove. I ended up breaking the tab that you are supposed to rotate, which was ok because I never intended to trust my ipod to that clip. (They do warn you that the clip is for casual use only). After snapping off the remaining parts of the tab with a needle nose plier I was able to remove the belt clip.

I received the evo3 only a couple days after it was promised.

My biggest complaint is the head phones jack. I have not been able to make the plug stay in for my headphones (Sony MDR-V600, not the ipod headphones, have not tried those) or the cable going to my stereo. This will probably be fixed by cutting the hole a little bigger but I'd like a case that I don't have to do any modification right out of the box.

I will not be buying another iSKiN product. The best I can say for this product is that it is better than no case at all and will only be using it until I can find a better replacement.

Hi, i orderd mine on the 28 of december, which was a wednesday. On the friday, it said shipped, which was the 30. I then received it today, the 3, being that the 2nd was a holiday for the post office becuase the 1 was on a sunday. The customer service and shipping was very speedy and good. The product itself is great. The only real complaint is that lint and stuff cling a lot. Cant they make an anti-lint silicone iSkin! When i invent it, oh watch out! LOL. Anyways, one last thing, around the VISOR edges of the silicone skin, there is a little excess of it. And, with the universal dock, with the adapotor thing taken out, it wouldnt fit, so i.....Gasp...Cut it! And now it fits. And one last thing. The shipping could have been faster for me cause i live in Toronto, which is where iSkin ships out of and where its headquarters is. All in all, it will protect my iPod, and it looks great. (Have Sonic Blue by the way!)

I had the same experience as ddemed...ordered my black Evo3 on Dec. 28 (with some trepidation, given some of the comments above) and received it on Jan. 3. Look slike they may have some of their earlier problems in hand. And Jennifer1279, don't have camera w/ me now, but I have a 5g Black 30g iPod in the black Evo3 case and I think it pretty much looks like the photo on the website.

Has anyone tried to dock using the evo3 case in a Griffin Road Trip (the newer one). My ipod fits great and is really easy to use whenever I get in the car and I am looking for a case that will allow me to just drop it into the bracket like I do now. Maybe if I cut the flap off??? Will it be too thick to dock properly? Thanks.
