I just receive my iSkin shuffle duo today and thought at first that the materials looked/felt rather cheap, considering the price tag. After a few hours of use, however, I am getting to like the iSkin duo. The bottom flap opens very easily and it's a snap to plug into your computer's USB port or AC adapter for charging. (This is a big plus over the Apple sport case, which, though nicely waterproof, requires you to take the shuffle completely out). The rubber over the back switch takes some getting used to - I had a hard time at first feeling where the "clicks" were and kept getting continuous play instead of shuffle play. I thought the plastic lanyard cord and and teeny metal ring was quite cheap in terms of materials compared to those supplied by Apple. Otherwise, I am enjoying the duo and the blue/green colors are a snazzy combo. I plan to get blue foam pads and a blue cord manager from Sumajin to match.

Am I not reading this right? Wouldn't that render it unusable?
Oh wait...

I don't mean to critique your reviews as I love the site but you might want to move these sentences closer together or hint that the second one is coming. It's only just gone 9am here and I don't need that kind of confusion at this time of the day!
P.S. How tough did the connection from the flap to the rest of the inner skin seem?

If I was just purchasing my Shuffle, this is the case I would get. As it is though, I've had my Shuffle since they came out,and it's so scratched that buying a case for it would be impractical.

It would need this much protection if you wanted to work out with it (keep sweat off of it) or wanted to keep it scratch-less. Otherwise, probably not.
Jeremy, what's the weight of this case vs the Apple Sport Case? When the headphone flap is open, is the headphone port subject to sweat, or is it still pretty much covered?

I recently ordered a product from ISkin and paid hansomely for express shipping. A week later and the package has not arrived. Apparently ISkin is a Canadian company and did not inform its buyers that shipments must be cleared by customs and express shipping (at over $ 10 additional) takes a least 1 week or longer.
Shame on ISkin.

Thank you for that Coloradoguy. I just recently ordered something from iSkin (case for my 5g to be percise) and I've been hoping it would come in rather soon.
I liked the review, it was very helpful because I'm planning on getting this for my father. He jogs a lot, but doesn't have a place to put the suffle, so just holds it.

These are great for kids. Got one for my eight- year- old daughter to cover her 1st gen shuffle and she loves it. And with the lanyard she can keep it around her neck right beside her Tamagotchi.
