haha,the retracting issue is what i was always wondering about,now i know they suck.

Though I do not doubt your claims, I just wanted to speak up for JavoEdge's mechanism. I have never tested their headphones, so this isn't so much about them, but I have one of their retractable cords for my Sanyo 5300-USB, and I havent had a single problem with it since I bought it. I've taken it camping and the like, and no issues with the device.

i will buy them and fit them with the
jabra soft gel ear pads. the jabra
windup is great but only one ear.
should work well, worth a try.
