Just curious as if the zipper part of the C.E.O. case would scratch or damage the metallic or the white part of the iPods surface. Otherwise I think it would be a classy pick 4 a 3G iPod case.

Bob: Not unless misused. The interior zipper track is padded against scratching the iPod.

I've contacted both Griffin and Marware about using the iTrip with this case. They both said it wasn't possible without first taking the iPod out of the glove. You still say that the iTrip works with this case?

Because the Marware case is so thin, we found that the peripherals do fit and function with the iPod inside. The connection between iPod and peripheral is surely better than with other cases, such as the eXo rubberized cases and most other leather producs.

However, because the case creates a tiny (1mm-ish) lip between iPod and peripheral, there isn't any guarantee that the contacts will remain connected, hence neither Marware nor Griffin would officially endorse their products' combination. In our testing, we found the connection to hold steady under certain circumstances, but not under all. Therefore, when using the peripherals with the case on, something as simple as a piece of tape guarantees the items will hold together under strain.

I love my CEO Glove, but it's worth mentioning that although the belt clip is held on pretty firmly, the plastic bits that hold the clip on the case itself are not all that strong. After about two months of lots of usage, including some active usage (running), mine broke off. A bit of Goop and super glue fixed it right up, but at the cost of no longer having a removable clip (which doesn't bother me, but might well bother others).

This case looks good, but is there one whose preferred position is actually upside-down on the belt? Looking down at the iPod from above would make that item certainly preferable to me.
