I purchased this from an Apple store earlier this week and I am quite happy with it. I had previously purchased the Speck SkinTight 2-Pack skin/holster combination, however my wife and I returned that the next day, as the silicone did not fit properly and the holster did not function as an iphone stand well, as it kept falling over. This unit does perform the task well as I have it setup in my office now. The holster holds securely to my belt, although the multi-dapt system makes it stick out too much for my liking. It is easy to get the phone out of the holster, however it has not fallen out or have been knocked out yet, which is a good sign. I really like it as it does not hide the design of the iPhone!

Just to update my previous recommendation... I love it even more now, as I just picked up the Apple iPhone Bluetooth Headset. The sidewinder not only holds cabled headphones well, but also snugly holds the Apple Bluetooth Headset as well. Extremely convenient! Please consider this in your review.

Recently purchased this from apple store. the headphone sidewinder piece actually works well and keeps things at your fingertips without looking overly nerdy. The screen protector that they give you is also really nice, much clearer than i've seen for other devices, and seems to offer less friction than the glass screen which is a plus. As noted by another reviewer, the belt clip sticks out way too far, like another appendage. I am tempted to buy the cheap $8 swivel holsters from ebay as I am used to the lower profile. I find that it whacks door openings and such because it sticks out too far. The fit of the phone was not really that snug for my iphone and I have always used hard plastic holsters for all of my other devices. When put in backwards, it was much looser. I ended putting a small piece of adhesive felt at the bottom of the holster between the speaker cutouts and that has made the fit very snug, like it should be. I plan on finding a metal spring clip that I can attach to the holster for a lower profile because the holster itself looks really nice and fits the phone perfectly. I use the phone in the holster as it is not as slippery in my hands. Recomment this case to those who are used to the standard plastic swivel holsters, as it does not offer that much protection, but offers easy access and display for others to see.

Not B-, B-ware.
This holster does not snugly fit the Iphone and I was constanly nervous that the iPhone would be jarred loose. I didn;t have to worry about that though. My belt clip broke within two weeks of relatively light use. Thankfully, the iPhone didn't hit the floor.
I replaced this holster with Seidio's. It's made of polycarbonate and fits the Iphone like a glove.
