Just got one of these for running. So far I'm extremely happy. It's small and light, and very convenient to use. I have a pair of the recommended Sony MDR-EX81 headphones (also highly recommended for running) with the l-shaped plug, and they work fine with this. I was scared when I saw the shape of the hole but they worked just great. The only down side it the exposed window, which makes me nervous for running in the rain. I think I'll use the otterbox case for those days.
