Neat, I was going to buy the basic until I found out that my loving relitives will by my an i-Vod case for x-mas. Still, I think the basic is a very nifty case. Great review!

My Sportsuit basic just arrived, I purchased it after reading this review. I have a 30GB 5G iPod and so far I think this case is perfect, nice tight fit, the base connecter is accessed via a tuck (there is not a cut hole unlike the headphone hole) the locking switch is covered but still very useable. I guess at some point the plastic screen will become scratched.

Delivery to the Netherlands was $12 and delivery time was 12 days from order.
I was concerned that after fitting the case it would not still fit in my 'Kubrick iKub' however without the clip it still fits great.
The cases at the Apple shops do not have screen protector or access to the base connecter and the sleeve that comes with your new iPod just serves to scratch your screen in the first week of ownership.
Overall, if you want value for money, I definitely recommend this.

While I agree that pouch designs are making less sense as a primary iPod protector for iPods with video (i.e. iPod 5G), it does make sense as a secondary protector.
I have purchased an iSkin eVo3 for my new iPod 5G, 60GB after reading many reviews on iLounge. (Thanks for a great job guys as it significantly helped my decision process!) But now, I think I'd really like to get a soft, well-padded pouch that would accept my iPod INCLUDING eVo3 skin as a carrying case. My iPod would go into this case when I'm either (a) transporting the iPod while it is not in use, or (b) on with headphones attached, but in the locked position.
The Marware Sportsuit Sleeve seems like a good choice, but before I buy, I have one question: Will my eVo3 skinned 60GB iPod 5G fit into this pouch comfortably, or is it too small to be used this way?
Thanks for any guidance you can provide. Keep up the fantastic job at iLounge -- we really appreciate your efforts!
