Is there any question that there's a demand for a lanyard with integrated, retractable headphones? It was the first accessory I looked for after I got my Shuffle (unfortunately it didn't exist yet). I bring my Shuffle to work, and put it on when I take a noontime walk. It seemed like I spent the first half of my walk just trying to untangle the earpod wires.
And the earpods banging around when I took them out of my ears meant they were in constant danger of damage. I lost two of those little foam caps in the first week, had to glue the remaining two in place. Haven't lost any since I started using the Song Sling, even without SuperGlue.
As for the look - I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. I think it's pretty slick looking.
