This case put scratches on the face on both my 5 GB and 10 GB ipods. The stitching on the inside that holds the plastic ring surrounding the controls rubbed against the face so bad, that no scratch removing product has been able to fix it.
Don't get it if you plan to take your ipod out and look at it in its natural state.

This case has ruined my ipod as well, engraving scratches in the pattern of the stitching on the face of my ipod. This product should be taken off the market. It does not protect -- it harms your ipod!
