Got a question for you here Jeremy. Is the feel of these skins silky/powdery like the nano tubes, or is there a rubbery feel to them?

Gross. So far no 5G cases have impressed me much, but these are the worst so far. I'm waiting for a nice, leather case with great screen protection and adequite click wheel protection (I couldn't watch Family guy on a scratched screen). So far the leather flip case is my favourite but with the flap closed, I can't acess conrtols on my pocket...not good. We need some good cases and soon.

Personally, I dislike all the 'fancy' patterns and designs that people like iSkin put into their skins. You make call these plain, but they're no plainer than the iPod itself.

Magic Rabbit, that couldnt be more correct. The reason the ipod is so nice and elegant is becasue of its simple design. Same goes for these skins...simple but nice. Id buy this over an iSkin any day.

i REALLY prefer the silky/powdery feel of the iPod Nano Tubes from Apple WAY WAY WAY BETTER then the rubbery feel you get from most skins these days. Any 5G cases out with that type of feel yet ??

I ordered one of these, because I liked the one I got for my nano. It's simple (a plus in my book), and the white/clear one looks great on my white 30GB. I prefer the simplicity of this skin over the iSkin (at least the early rendering) and the Speck skintight. It does have a powdery/silky feel to it, much better to me than the zCover I tried first. It's not very thick, but that's what I wanted.

I'm excited for the next generation of skins from iSkin. I've had three cases from them and they've all been great, but each evolutionarily better than the last -- tighter fitting, better protection on the edges and yet slimmer silicon, etc.
Unfortunately, my 5g -- which is in an old apple belt case right now -- is already scratched to hell. Put it face down on a dusty desk ONCE, and that's all she wrote. I'm going to need to polish it for hours when iSkin finally get off their ###...and then i think i'll give it a nice carnuba waxing, just in case.

ALERT, ALERT, SLANDEROUS COMMENT!!!:
I don't know if they've rectified the problem, but when I bought one of these for the 4G ipod, the inner piece of plastic melted a mark onto my ipod metal back and left circular scratches where it had rubbed slowly but surely over time. I now have a spotless 5G ipod and will not be tempting fate by purchasing another one of these, kudos to all those who haven't had problems with it, I might have been unlucky...

I've had this case (white, with belt clip, for my 30GB iPod) for a few months now, and I am very pleased with it. The silicone has a smooth and soft feel, not sticky. The design is simple so my iPod still looks like an iPod, and it is well protected. Great price too.
