It definetly looks better than the InvisibleShield.

I have a crystal film set for my 5g iPod and it is the best iPod-related purchase I've made. Some may say that it doesn't cover enough of the surface, but to me it covers plenty of it, and keeps my iPod looking great (and looking like an iPod, not like an iPod covered with something else.) It does so without affecting your view of the screen at all. It's also very thin, so adds very little to the thickness. Previously I had an iSkin silicon case, and while it was effective protection, it made what was a slick little device into a lumbering behemoth that only hinted of its iPod origins. I was never happy with it. I don't use a case with the crystal film. The iPod is more resilient to drops then some say - I know because I have dropped mine several times. The end result is that I can slip my iPod into my pocket and I don't worry about it, and when it's out of my pocket it's a pretty much pristine and unobscured iPod. Highly recommended.
