just another lame solution to the ipod car mount.
first of all that bell clip thing sticks to your ipod forever and will leave a permenant mark at the back of the ipod. not good.
secondly the mount base will also leave a huge round circle sticky spot in your car specially in hot weather like here in southern california.
the third, do you really need that huge arm to move it around? an ipod is an ipod is not a lcd tv that you need mount on your wall. what is the whole purpose of ipod car mount anyway? just to look good? if it doesn't have anyway other goal wouldn't be better just to leave it in your pocket?
Overall, i think it is just overkill to have something like this for your ipod in the car. For simplicity I prefer the iSportCase ($19) from monster (http://www.monstercable.com/computer/productPageComputer.asp?pin=2185). Note: it comes with a simple but effective car mount kit. and that's all your need.

I agree with previos comments. The iSportCase from Monster is more than able with its car mount. I have it in my car and it works perfectly and is hardly noticeable (and thats the truth!)

There are too many things like this...and most of them scratch your iPod! Why not just get something that is sure to keep it on your dash? The iGrip is cheaper, white (matches the iPod), and just works great (EVEN IF you drive like a maniac).
