Two problems: A) Having to take the iPod, especially 5G, in and out of cases is annoying and B) Is it really a good idea to have a device that can play videos at eye level?

It is on Proclip's website today, so you should be able to order it.

NOTE: The 5G holder IS NOT on the proclip website yet. You can select the 5G ipod as an option, but the two holder models that are listed under it are not made for the 5G. They are just old models for previous ipods. I got an email from proclip saying they will work, but the padded adjustable holder will only work if you have a skin on your ipod. Here's the email:

"Thank you for your patience on the custom holder for the ipod video. It should only be a few more weeks. Meanwhile, these two solutions will work just fine. The Padded Ajustable Holder will work with the ipod video as long as it has a skin on it."

The "Padded Adjustable Holder with Tilt Swivel" (model 848636) works just fine with a 5G, even without a skin. I use one almost every day with my naked 60GB 5G.

FYI: The new padded holder with tilt swivel for the 5G ipod is now available from proclip. Finally.

does anyone know if this will fit the Pods Plus Aluminum Case? I have a 30gb case and was thinking maybe the 60gb holder would fit it?

pdpgoomba,

If you have an encased ipod just get the adjustable holder. Proclip gives the max. dimensions the holder opens to on their site.
