Jeremy, has anyone confirmed that screen protectors will even be compatible with the iPhone's screen?

Yes. But there is apparently some potential for issues depending on the way the protectors are designed.

I've used this product on iPods in the past and now on my iPhone. I love it. InvisibleShield protects the phone without adding ANY to the dimensions of the phone. It also keeps it easy to slip in and out of my pocket, but gives just a bit more gripping ability so the edges. And, it has not interfered at all with the touch screen. I can tap and slide just as before I applied the Shield. It really has been terrific for me.

It'd be nice to see you review the BestSkinsEver products, as they're cheaper and cover more than the Invisible Shields.

The real question, though, is if this is even useful. Have you seen the video where someone tries to scratch the iPhone's face with keys, but can't?
As for "without adding ANY to the dimensions of the phone," the Shield certainly does. In fact, applying the equivalent product to an iPod will make the iPod NOT fit in some cases, including Vaja's iVolution cases.

Yes, it's useful. Back when the iPod nano came out, there were claims that you could roll a car over it and it would still work, but in practice, the screen proved easy to stress crack and the body was hugely scratchable. Glass windshields on cars still chip when they're hit by small pieces of hard enough material, and the iPhone's screen isn't invulnerable, either.
Also, Vaja's iVolution cases for iPods are unusually tight by comparison with the 40-some iPhone cases we've tested. Many, perhaps most of the companies making iPhone cases are leaving space for screen protectors.

I received my InvisibleShield Full Body Shield yesterday the installation went pretty smooth but now the upper part of
the touchscreen doesnt work (5% upper line) leaving me without buttons like DONE when watching a movie or the TOUCH TO RETURN TO CALL button on the main menu while on a phone call. I called shieldzone earlier today and the guy I spoke to said he had the same problem and that his problem went away by turning his phone off for two hours.
I am going to try that, hopefully it works.
I will post an update later.
