I just bought this for my new enhanced 5G ipod and i love it it sounds great and it does have bass more then i thought it would for such little speakers you will surprised by the way the if-2 sounds! and the remote is awesome! you can dock your ipod and with a a/v cable you can watch videos on your tv and use the if-2's remote to play, pause,go to next scene,or turn the volume up! and i love how it is all in a nice sized zip up case! and the built in rechargeable battery is another sweet thing the if-2 has to offer as well as storage for your ipod and headphones. i was looking at altec speakers but to take them anywhere you have to use the backpack that comes with them.the if-2 is self contained in it's own zip up case! no back pack to lose! and it size is great it is a tiny ipod speaker with big sound! buy this and you won't be dissapointed! deserves an A+!

I bought this a while back, and I personally thought it was great. I brought it along with me on a couple of trips, and the fact that it closed up on its own was a godsend. However, there was one trip where someone tried to put a second generation Nano into it, and ended up knocking the dock connector out of alignment, even with the insert. That's the only real flaw with this speaker set though. I would personally like it better if the dock connector were more stable..or if there were something you could fold up to keep the case from closing onto the iPod.
