Just got this case today. Out of all the cases I have, the flip stand has to be the best. One of the problems I had with other cases was that the buttons were too easy to push, but since the case is thicker, the buttons won't be pushed easily in daily use. The scroll wheel protector was exactly what I needed. It even comes with a nice docking cradle that you can use with the case still on. Very nice all around!

This looks exactly like what i want, except I worry that it will scratch up the iPod during insert/removal.
Any problems as of yet?
Thanks

Hi,
I got the Speck case, Pros and Cons for me were:
Pros: Hard as hell, solid plastic. Virtually encases the ipod. It has a flip shield that drops over the scroll wheel and clicks in. It has a flip top so that you can attatch things like the Itrip adapter and still have it in the case.
Cons: It does cause scratching, My ipod has a series of faint scratched lines along the center of it across the screen. Additionally, the flip lid that covers the scroll wheel covers the firewire cord so I have to have the flip lid open while Im driving to plug in the charger. (I could remedy this with a car holder however.) I find it hard to push the buttons occasionally, the plastic is thick and Im guessing my finger doesn't make full contact with the button. The flip lid also means you have to have hands free to unclick it and open it to access the scroll wheel (to adjust volume or change playlists for example). Somewhat annoying if I'm on the treadmill, but its protected.
All in all, not a bad protective case. Watch out for minor scratching. If you can put one of those fine layer screen protectors on your screen it should be ok.
