the piece of plastic that protects the clickwheel folds down to prop up the mini. u can then plug the usb or fire wire into the bottem to simulate a dock.

you can't really plug the cables in while it's propped up (kinda defeats the purpose) but it makes for a pretty sweet case.

Does this case have really bad protection if u drop it? and is it easily scratched?

bought this case yesterday, so far, i really like it, although it had a line scratch on it when i first got it.. but otherwise i like it, although minor thing is that the top part of the case is rather LOOSE, in which the ipod mini moves around, but i fixed that by putting some tissue in it ..
